Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (USA)

Little Mac battles his way through the World Video Boxing Association levels in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (USA). The objective is to triumph in a final "Dream Fight" against a highly competent boxer after fighting a succession of colorful fictitious opponents in three main circuits and the hidden Another World Circuit. Super Macho Man, who served as the game's final foe in Super Punch-Out!!, is the final boss in the Gold Version. Mike Tyson, the current World Heavyweight Champion in real life, is featured in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! Tyson was changed to the made-up Mr. Dream once the license to use him expired.
Compared to the majority of his rivals, Little Mac has a little repertoire. His only strikes consist of a strong uppercut, left and right body blows, and left and right jabs. The player must first earn a star before using the uppercut, which is commonly done by counter-punching the adversary either before or just after using specific moves. Up to three stars may be obtained by the player. Once a star is obtained, the player must push the start button to execute the uppercut. By raising his guard, Mac may block blows, duck, and avoid them left or right.
