Dungeon Master II
Dungeon Master II received mediocre reviews and sold very poorly. Reviewing the Sega CD version, GamePro commented that the standard Genesis controller doesn't work well with the game's point-and-click interface and requires a Sega Mouse to fully enjoy the game. They also criticized the need to maintain a light source and a food supply. However, the majority of their reviews were devoted to praising the enemy's AI, which they deemed so intelligent and natural that it was "almost like playing against someone else." Reviewing the later PC version, a Next Generation reviewer said that while the original Dungeon Master was a standout game, Dungeon Master II retained aspects of the long outdated original. Noting the "newly different magic system" as one of the few bright spots, he gave it two out of five stars.
