Spades is a card game that was made in the 1930s in the United States. It can be played with other people or "exorbitantly" by one person. The goal is to get the number of tricks (also called "books") that were auctioned off before the game started.

Spades

Each hand has a number of tricks, and all fifty-two cards are used for thirteen tricks in a four-hand game. The person to the dealer's left takes the lead by playing any card they want.
The players then play their hands in a clockwise direction. If they can, they have to follow, but if not, they can play any card, even the trump card. Once a player throws a card, it stays in place and can't be taken back unless the player who threw it tries to take it back before the next player does. Have a good time!
