With a free piece of land in the UK and a few hundred thousand pounds, the player must build an amusement park that makes money. The park spends money on rides, shops, and staff, and it makes money by selling admission tickets, merchandise, and drinks. There are shops that sell food (like ice cream) or drinks, as well as shops with games like coconut shies and arcades. Their features can be changed, which may change how customers act. For example, changing the taste of food (like how much sugar is in an ice cream) may make customers less likely to come back. You can buy things like toilets and things that make the park look better, like trees and fountains. There are more than thirty things to do, from easy rides like the bouncy castle and tree house to more difficult and expensive rides like the roller coaster and Ferris wheel. Shows (called "acts") with themes like clowns and the Middle Ages can also be used as rides. Some rides, like roller coasters, need to have a track set up. Different platforms have different ride add-ons. For example, the PlayStation version doesn't have the medieval or dolphin shows. Rides need to be taken care of regularly or they will explode if they aren't. Depending on the platform, you can see the whole park or just the rides.
