The peaceful planet K-9, which is ruled by dogs, is under siege from the pit bull empire. Dr. Kibble expedites the Wonder Dog project, an attempt to produce a super-strong dog, in a last-ditch bid to preserve his world. Running out of time, he uses his newborn son to test the serum before sending it to Earth along with a unique suit called the Wonder Suit. His son fell upon the planet and quickly made friends with a young youngster. The boy's father wouldn't allow him keep the dog, so they were forced to part ways. The dog then goes back to the ship, dons the Wonder Suit, and transforms into the Wonder Dog, who has to defend the planet K-9 from the invasion of Pit Bulls.
