Animal crossing (Doubutsu no Mori)
Animal Crossing, known as "Doubutsu no Mori" in Japan, is a life simulation game originally released for the Nintendo 64 and later ported to the GameCube.
How to play
1. Starting the game:
- Create a character and choose a town to live in
- Tom Nook will give you a house and a loan to pay off
2. Basic controls:
- Use the analog stick to move your character
- A button for interactions (talking, picking up items)
- B button for running
- C-stick for tool selection
3. Main objectives:
- Pay off your house loan to Tom Nook
- Develop friendships with animal villagers
- Collect items, fish, bugs, and fossils
- Decorate and expand your house

- Shake trees for items or bells (in-game currency)
- Dig for fossils
- Fish in rivers and the ocean
- Catch bugs with a net
- Plant flowers and trees

- Visit other players' towns (requires a memory card)
- Celebrate holidays and events
- Donate to the museum
6. Time system:
- The game operates in real-time, syncing with the console's clock
- Different events and creatures appear based on time of day and season
7. Tips:
- Write letters to villagers to improve friendships
- Buy and sell items at Tom Nook's shop
- Use the island feature to get rare items (GameCube version)
Remember, this is the original version, so it lacks some features present in later Animal Crossing games. The game is open-ended, allowing players to set their own pace and goals.
