How to Play Fractal Combat X

Controls

Ascend (or descend if inverted) with the W/Up Arrow
Descend (or ascend if inverted) with the S/Down Arrow
A/Left Arrow: Left Turn
Steer right with the D/Right Arrow.

If you have enough money, you will be able to fly a jet of your choice on several missions. Flying and shooting down targets is the main objective of each mission, which is finished when every target has been taken out. Green arrows at the edge of your crosshairs will indicate the targets. A green marker will be used to indicate when a target is in view. Fire your missile after maintaining eye contact with them until a lock-on has been verified. Red arrows will represent missiles that are not displayed, so be aware that targets may fire back at you. You will be shot down and have to restart the missions if your jet sustains too much damage.

You can spend the credits you receive from completing missions at the lobby screen. Each jet has its own advantages and disadvantages, so you can save for a new one that is mentioned in the shop. Additionally, you can enhance your present jet with money. By upgrading the engine, you can increase speed, the missiles' power, the control system's mobility, the armor's defense, and the electronics' capacity.

You have three options for selecting missions: Story, Quick Play, and Daily. There will always be the Story and Quick Play options for getting started and getting credits fast. Daily tasks will rotate, however there will be prerequisites to participate, such owning a specific kind of jet with specific modifications.

Advice and Techniques

The pilot who loses sight of their objective will lose in this kind of situation. Aim to maintain numerous targets on your screen and fly in different patterns to avoid being hit by missiles. When the missiles are close enough, dive if they are firing at you.
