Playing simultaneously, up to three players can lead the characters they've chosen through eight stages while fending off numerous monsters and adversaries Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Chinese bootleg, 930223 Asia TW) [Bootleg]. There are four playable characters: Jack (the balanced type), Hannah (the skill type), Mustapha (the speed type), and Mess (the power type). Each has advantages and disadvantages of their own. The dinosaurs that are the name of the game appear as neutral characters that have the ability to attack both opponents and player characters.

The players can choose from a variety of attacks. Every character has two special actions. One of them depletes a character's health upon contact with an adversary. Additionally, a team-attack can be initiated by two or more players when they play together. Together with physical weapons like clubs and boulders, players can also find and utilize a variety of firearms.

One of the major bad guys points a gun straight at the player's face in a first-person perspective while mocking them with phrases like "Eat lead, baby!" when the player loses. The game is over when the villain pulls a gun, which happens after a countdown of twenty seconds.
