Flicky (USA, Europe)

The player takes control of a blue bird with no wings called Flicky in the video game Flicky, which is a platformer. The only abilities the player have are the ability to run side by side and jump, and in order to pass each level, they must collect all of the small yellow birds known as "Chirps" and carry them to the exit. Although there is a possibility that some players will believe that Flicky is Chirps' mother, game artist Yoshiki Kawasaki has stated that she is actually only Chirps' friend. Chirps are organized in a chain that follows Flicky until they are gathered at the exit. There is a bonus point system in place for when numerous Chirps are brought back in a single chain. There are a total of 48 levels to progress through. Each stage is shown on a wraparound screen that scrolls horizontally, with Flicky remaining in the middle during the entire stage. After you have finished all of the stages, the game will continue to be played in an infinite loop with escalating levels of difficulty.
