NBA Jam

NBA Jam's exaggerated gameplay lets players jump high and perform plunges that defy human ability and physics. Only a goal and 24 second violation. Players can easily push their opponents out of the way. If the player scores three consecutive baskets, the character "burns up" and gains unlimited turbo and shooting accuracy. "Fire" mode continues until the other team scores or the "burnt" player scores four consecutive baskets while "burnt".
The game has easter eggs, special features, and shorthand or button/joystick activation. "Ultra Clean Floors" is activated by pressing A and right five times on any Genesis controller. Running too fast or changing direction too quickly causes the character to fall. Players can enter codes to unlock hidden players like Bill Clinton and Charlotte Hornets mascot Hugo. The hidden arcade game "tank" lets players drive and shoot enemy tanks for one minute. At game start, joysticks 1 and 2 must be moved down and all six buttons pressed and held before the field is displayed.
