BC Racers

BC Racers has four difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Hard. Each setting has eight different circuits, making a total of 32 circuits in the game. There are also eight themes, ranging from desert waste to active volcanoes and vast jungles. The tracks require four laps to complete and feature many elements specific to the circuit's setting. What's unusual for a game of this kind is that there's no power-ups, except for the "supercharger" that the bike can trigger every few seconds.

Both bike riders have the ability to use physical attacks to injure other riders. If the bike is hit enough, it will be thrown out, and the player will get extra points. The same can happen with the player's bike.

Some ports of the game include a split-screen two-player mode. The Sega CD version instead features a two-player cooperative mode (one player controls the rider, while the other controls combat, steering, and turbocharging).

Some of the racers in BC Racers come from other popular Core Design games, such as Chuck Rock and Chuck Rock Junior. Others are apparently references to some real-world characters, such as Brick Jagger, Sid Vicious, and Jimi Handtrix (a reference to Mick Jagger, Sid Vicious, and Jimi Hendrix).
