Pac-Man (Midway)

The video game Pac-Man (Midway) is an action maze chase in which the player guides the title character through a constrained maze. Pac-Man must consume every dot in the maze while dodging four ghosts of different colors that are chasing him: Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange). The player moves on to the next level when Pac-Man consumes all of the dots. Fruit icons at the bottom of the screen represent levels. There are brief sequences between each level that show Pac-Man and Blinky in amusing, funny circumstances.
Pac-Man will lose a life if he is grabbed by a ghost; the game is over after all lives have been lost. Each of the four ghosts has a distinct artificial intelligence (A.I.) and "personality": Blinky chases Pac-Man directly, Pinky and Inky strive to block Pac-Man, generally by surrounding him, and Clyde alternates between pursuing and eluding Pac-Man.
