Marvel vs Capcom - clash of super heroes (980123 Euro)

The third installment in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of 2D fighting games is called "Clash of Super Heroes" (980123 Euro). Similar tag team-based playing principles are used in this game as in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, its forerunner. The player chooses a team of two warriors to engage in one-on-one combat before each match begins. At any time during a battle, the player is allowed to switch between their characters. While a character is engaged in combat, their buddy is off-screen resting and gradually regenerating their life gauge. If the clock runs out before either team is eliminated, the player with the greatest health is deemed the victor. Otherwise, the team that first exhausts their opponent's vitality wins the game.
