Tetris (USA)
Tetris (USA) principally consists of a field of play in which "tetrominoes," or pieces of various geometric shapes, descend from the top of the field: 377 The pieces can be rotated and moved laterally during this drop until they either touch the bottom of the field or land on a piece that was put there before them. In most variants, the player can accelerate the falling pieces rather than stop or slow them down. The goal of the game is to build as many horizontal lines of blocks as you can with the available pieces. Each line that is finished causes the blocks above it to drop one rank and disappear. A player advances in level by clearing lines and earning a set number of points, which raises the quantity of points awarded for each line cleared. Completing lines awards points.
