Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa (ver EAB)
Based on the cartoon series of the same name, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa (ver EAB) is a coin-operated arcade game from 1992. The Konami-published game is a side-scrolling "run 'n gun" shooter that is similar to Sunset Riders, the publisher's previous game with a wild west theme. Ryan Brown, the inventor of Moo Mesa, extensively collaborated with Konami on the game's creation.
Cowlorado Kid, The Dakota Dude, Marshal Moo Montana, and Buffalo Bull are the game's player characters. Up to four players can play at once depending on how the game is configured.
An eight-way joystick and two buttons for leaping and firing are included in the game's controls. The player character can launch a stampede attack, a spin jump, or utilize any equipped weapons like tomahawks and dynamite sticks by simultaneously pressing both buttons. By shooting flying chickens, players can find a variety of things that gain power, such as quick-firing machine guns and upgrades for broader projectiles. Unlike Sunset Riders, the player can make three hits before losing a life because to the three-unit life gauge.
