In the Marvel Comics universe, the X-Men are a fictitious superhero team. Group first appeared in a comic book series of the same name in 1963. These characters first featured in video games for home consoles, portable consoles, video games, and personal computers in 1989. In 1985, a game for home computers was developed, but the creator went out of business before it could be released. In the early 1990s, the series extended to consoles and consoles, with the first games launched on 8-bit home platforms.
